In Aledo, Texas, Kristin Pass is crowned high school homecoming queen."There wasn't a dry eye to be seen," said Carolyn Pass, the mother of newly crowned queen Kristin Pass, who was born with Down syndrome 18 years ago.

I didn't read the rest of them, but I believe that. It was an overwhelmingly positive article, loved it.

Silly "normal" b$%#, doesn't she realise that it could just as easily have been her that was born with DS. It's just the luck of the bloody draw, she acts like she has done something special in order to end up "normal". And if that attitude is "normal", then give me people with DS any day of the week.

You know what, since this journey started, I have come to hate the word normal. It's all very subjective.
