Carolyn, this was the first book that I read after being told about my precious little gift. I enjoyed all of the stories but was very frustrated by the fact that so many of the mums took so long to accept that their child had Ds and in doing so had missed those precious days that they would never be able to get back again.
I know we all deal with things differently, but being surrounded by so many friends struggling to have a baby I could not imagine being anything less than delighted with my lot. (It did take me 48 hours to gain this perspective)
