Oh forgot to add, Emily was spontaneous labour, 13 hours established labour, needed vontous extraction and I ended up with 27 stitches! Shocked Crying or Very sad I was still healing when she was 6 weeks old!
Kailah was induced at 8 days over, she was born at 10 days past EDD after a 27 hour established labour. Both were drug free.

My children in order are:
#1 7:50pm, 5hrs labour, 3.12kg (6lb 14oz), 50cm long, 34cm head, 270 days gestation (38+4wks)
#2 5:30am, 2.5hrs labour, 3.77kg (8lb 5oz), 52cm long, 36cm head, 282 days (40+2wks)
#3 12:21am, 1.5hrs labour, 4.14kg (9lb 2oz), 53.5cm long, 36cm head, 290 days (41+3wks)
#4 3:44am, 5hrs labour, 4.50kg (9lb 140z), 57cm long, 36.5cm head, 277 days (39+4wks)

They were all SVD (spontaneous vaginal deliveries) except that I actually brought on #2 by drinking castor oil lol. Tried it with #3 but he wouldn't budge. Went into labour twice (drank it twice) but it never eventuated into anything. Threw the rest in the bin and swore never to drink the stuff again lol.

All were breastfed from birth but Jirah (#4) was the biggest champion because she fed from my bad side from birth. She's still feeding (when she's not biting Shocked ) at 19mths. I figure it's probably the only Omega 3 she gets at the moment and definitely helps with her fluid intake Wink

I could see a pattern evolving with the weights: and also with my weight - after every birth, I lose it all except for 2kg. So since having children, I now weigh consitently 8kg more than I used to before children. I think it's a good place to stop now ROFL

Cleo was 6lb 11oz after 26 hour labour
And my whopper was Lachie at 7lb 8.oz after about 10 hr labour (well I thought he was pretty big lol! )

Lol at your whooper Narelle! But I suppose when you have tiny weeny lil bubbas like your other 2, that would seem pretty huge.
Kailah (9lb 2oz) was actually easier to birth than Emily who was only 7lb. and I spent twice as long in labour! lol.

But when I was birthing Em, I wasn't allowed to move off the bed. I was flat on my back the whole time so they could monitor her. With Kailah i refused to be monitored and was free to walk around, have a bath, do what eer I wanted. Very Happy

Paige was born @ 40 weeks exactly and weighed 2.6kg and was 47cm long. At 2 years and 4 months, she is 10kg and 76cms, so still a small little girl but she is about avarage on the DS charts or thereabouts, I cant remember.

Summer was born @ 39 weeks (elective c/section) and weighed 3.2kg and was 49cms. At 4 months she is 5.7kg and is 61cms. It took Paige forever to get to that weight! She was tiny even at 4 months, but she had an open duct that was making her not drink much Crying or Very sad but after her duct was closed surgically the weight gains were much better.

My kids were:
Nikki 7lb 7oz. 42 weeks. Labour was about 18 hours and she was facing upwards instead of downwards and tore me to shreds
Stef 6lb 3oz 38 weeks. Breech. Labour was about 3 hours. Had to be cut out vaginally because she got her head stuck. BIG OUCH!!
Joel 9lb (my hippo). 40 weeks. Normal presentation but induced on due date. 3 hour labour. The easiest by far. Only about 20 stitches.
Talitha 5lb 3oz 36 weeks. Emergency caesarian due to intrautering growth retardation and her AVSD which meant her heart was not pumping enough blood. She was lying breach/transverse anyway so they were already talking caesar before things started to go downhill.

Tori-Shaye was 38 weeks gestation, Dr organised and booked me in to be induced to allow us to make arrangements for my sister to travel over from NZ to be with us. Labour was 4 1/2 hours. Wooohoooo!!
She was 3.12kgs(6 lb 14 oz) and 49 cm long. HC 33cm.

No 1. 8lb 1 oz and 53cm long. 26 hour labour.
No 2. 8lb 1 oz and 53cm long??? 25 hour labour!! Surprised Yep same weight and length for both boys.

Another reason why I asked the doctor if I could get induced for Tori-Shaye, didn't feel up to those long labours, alot older this time round than I was for No 1 and 2. Both boys were pretty much around due date.

Wow- 2 long labours, usually the second is shorter. I understand why you asked to be induced and how's that having the first two born the same weight and size Shocked

Wil was born at 38 weeks, 6 days, weighing 7lb 15oz (3.59kg) and 50cm long (HC 32 I think!). It was a fairly quick labour - just under 6 hours. He got a bit stuck coming out so I had to be cut (ouch!). It all seems so long ago now...
