Very interesting. Also a large number of babies being terminated who may not have Ds due to that unreliable nuchal fold risk...sad!

I hate the line "And around nine in ten women who are told they are going to have a baby with the problem opt for a termination". How dare they call DS a problem.
It is sooo unfortunate the public image of DS is still so outdated.

i have since reading the skepticOBs blogs decided not to read anymore about it unless one of you ladies tell me its worth the read and isnt going to leave me FURIOUS lol i just dont see the point in getting all hyped up and angry when it wont change what they have said.
maybe just how i think but it was putting me in too bad of a mood and its not fair.

I rally hate that skeptic obs blog. I can't stand to even think about her!
Some of those articles Penny has been posting are terrible. Talking about erradicating the 'problem', and about finding out why some women refuse testing so they can address the 'issue'.
