MORE than 500 people are expected to take part in a charity mini-walkathon next month.
The First Annual Shoe Mart Walkathon will take place on March 21 at the Amwaj Island's Beach Club from 11am.
It is being organised by Al Rashid Group in collaboration with Unisono Event Management Company to raise money for the Bahrain Down Syndrome Care Centre.
It will also mark World Down Syndrome Day and Mother's Day...

Thanks for the link. One of my students last year was from Kuwait and she had a younger sister with DS - a gorgeous little girl who spoke both arabic and English.
