A head teacher has called on parents to be involved in the training of children with autism, down syndrome and attendant deficit hyperactive disorder.

Mrs. Gbemi Olowokere, the Head Teacher of Attwool Sunflower School, Lekki, made the call in Lagos at a special “Autism and Down Syndrome Workshop”.

Olowokere said the workshop was specifically for parents to know the developmental stages of children “so as to be able to contribute to their learning process”...
