Such was the scenario as members of the Down Syndrome of Nigeria (DSAN) kept vigil. It was the Christian Holy week that heralds Easter but the request they all held hands in prayer was for someone very close to their hearts; a passionate appeal to God Almighty to save their own. As their lips moved in prayer, they asked that one of them that was taken to far away Bengalore in India, for a life saving procedure to come out alive. Led by the National President, Rose Mordi, the members of DSAN prayed that Baby Andrew Duku, the 14-month old child with Down Syndrome and a congenital heart defect, who was undergoing a matter-of-life-and-death surgery come out successful...
