| It came to 30 Euro with postage - mmm not sure exact amount - but if I find the invoice I'll let you know. I'd like to get the dads one too but have already overspent on Amazon US - I got Common Threads, Count us In, Victoria's Day and Roadmap. All good but OUCH - no more for at least 6 months. | |

| tell me what common threads is like, im reading Road map to holland at the moment and its great. What's Victoria's day about? I wanna get chicken soup for the soul (special needs). I find its easier and costs abit less to just order from my borders shop. If i could find one of those second hand stores on Amazon that has a few i want id order, save on shipping. Is that what you do or do you buy them new? | |

| If you can buy it in USD then you'll be better off. I made a purchase online recently that was going to be about 18 Euro, 30 AUD or 23 USD. I only had the choice of AUD or USD with my payment preference so chose USD because it converted to about 25 AUD Looks like a great book! I just watched the slide show on her blog: her daughter JulianaWhat a stunner! Cas | |

| Common threads is good - but I like Conny's photos better! It is meant to be a coffee table book but the paper and production in COnny's is better -s till Common threads has a lot more stories and quotes etc and is quite lovely. I have Chicken Soup for the Soul and it is ok but I am not wrapped in it - it doesn't have anything particularly unique or different about the way it looks at disability Maybe that is a bit harsh - but in comparison to some of the others like Lessons From My Child which I really liked and re read every now and again . I thought I'd buy a heap to save on postage - it is my first order through amazon - and it was inspired because the bookstore that normally orders in stuff for me said they couldn't get Jen's Roadmap. I got mostly new so yes expensive - and then a couple of weeks later after looking for 18 months we finally bought a house but definitely limited resources now . | |

| $50 - but still (gulp) worth it. Hannah loves it too - but maybe I'll make sure she takes REALLY good care of it! | |

| What a lovely book...beautiful pictures Robyn...I posted a link about Victoria's Day, I bought it here in Aus though, not through Amazon. My local Dymocks ordered it in for me, I think it was around $27 Aussie dollars. | |

| That's one stunning little girl, she's just breathtaking. My step-daughters friend told me that Georgia will have awful teeth, as all children with DS do. I believed her, as she has a brother with DS (who obviously has problems with his teeth..). Conny's teeth are beautiful, so it mustn't be the case that they all have misshappen teeth. Gosh, I was going to believe someone who had a brother with DS, you'd think she'd know | |

| Yeah the teeth thing always scared me too - but no Hannah's teeth are very 'respectable' although they did come through in a slightly odd order I think. | |

| Isabella has some very sharp teeth (which is a DS thing) but I've seen other kids with DS with great looking teeth - also worth noting is that baby teeth aren't necessarily the way adult teeth turn out (just incase you get a couple of sharpies for baby teeth too).
Funny thing I really noticed the teeth too. | |

| I have thought about it, but aren’t concerned at all. My first son was born with a cleft lip and palate and I know how great the Dental Doctors are Half teeth split down the centre can be rebuilt, missing teeth not a problem….. It’s endless dont worry | |
