Not sure if you guys have seen this book but it's very sweet and written by a lady with a daughter called Victoria with DS. I remember the first time I saw it at the special needs resource centre I jumped on it! The little girl in the book reminds me of Gracie and also Gracie had an outfit in the same fabric as Victoria is wearing in the book....pretty freaky, as it was from the USA.
Anyway it's great for children starting pre-school or kindy, I bought one and donated it to Gracie's kindy plus we have one here.

Wow Karen, you've got a great list of books happening here! I wonder if we should start a book club....which reminds me, I need to post a book to the other Karen!

I wasn't that impressed with this one at first - it looked so oldfashioned. But as the twins prepare for preschool next year - I have just started to read it to them - and it is great - they love it and I think they'll find it really reassuring next year. I'll have to try and pick up another copy to give to the preschool.
