Pieces of Art featuring Down Syndrome

Was flicking through a book about Down Syndrome and spotted these:

Virgin and Child by Andrea Mantegna (c.1430 - 1506)

Lady Cockburn and her children by Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792)

then did a search on the internet for them and came up with this one:

Pieces of Art. They are on pag 34/35 of the book " Parent's guide to Down syndrome- Toward a brighter future - Siegfried M. Pueschel - Published 1990. I can lend you the book if you like or do you have enaugh books on this topic Paul, Aden's mum and Sunshyne.

I actually dont have many books on DS read a lot on the net, we get some good books from Yorella, but a lot seem to be over 15 years old. Does anyone know of some good new books?

Thanks Maria, I suppose I should've said which book it was I have heard of others too but can't remember where they are. If anyone finds anything, post it here! I did hear a while back that kids with Down Syndrome were often featured in paintings. Because way back when, people with Down Syndrome were looked upon as 'children of God' and revered as being divine in nature.
