Thanks Sam Very Happy

A few of us saw them on Denton last year (http://www.dsdownunder.com/news-watch-f4/merry-makers-t585.htm?highlight=merry+makers) but I noticed they were on again the other night. Actually I was in the other room, and my daughter came running in saying, "Mum come and watch this - it's a group of adults and I think they've all got Down Syndrome." When I went out there, they were dancing around so I said, "Is this the Merry Makers?" My kids were so excited Very Happy I didn't catch DH's expression Razz Was just glad he happened to be on that channel at that particular time lol...

I noticed the dance coach (or whatever she's called? Embarassed ) said she'd love to see Merry Makers all over the world Very Happy How awesome would that be?

There was an attempt to get it started in qld last year I think but the problem is that it's really hard to find a volunteer who is willing to give SO much time and effort to not only do the lessons etc but also coordinate the group. There are lots of people who are willing to help out but noone who can commit to actually running the project.

I'm hopeful that it will happen ONE day but I guess we have to wait for the right person to come along.
