A child gets enthusiastic with his musical instruments and music undoubtedly can help the human soul.
With this is mind, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) has initiated a programme called Encounter – Discovery & Learning Through Music (an MPO Education and Outreach Programme).
“Encounter” introduces Malaysians of all ages and walks of life to classical music in a lively manner and offers such music ato the less fortunate.
The programme also aims at instilling passion and interest in the younger generation to fulfil their dreams of becoming orchestral musicians and arts performers. “We do not consider the programme as an act of charity. | Thanks for that link - one of our very dear friend's family is from Malaysia - in fact at one time his cousin was events manager for MPO - so it was especailly good to read this story - Hannah loves her Uncle R. | |
