Argh! You won't believe it but my computer died The worst thing is that I didn't have anything backed up! It's a 6mth old MacBook and because everyone raves about Macs (well, mac users do lol), I didn't even anticipate anything like this happening. I'm hoping to retrieve the data in the next few days but thought while I'm waiting we could have on final order happening - all in one thread that's online so accesible from any computer! lol. So sorry about this guys - what a mess around!

Ok, I've just heard back from the t-shirt place. They said the Silver Glitter will look fine on lighter colour shirts because it's more of a silvery grey. They also said that if we wanted the print on Polo shirts, then it would have to be lower down on the front given there is a button in the middle of the chest.

So, do people want the adult print to be on the back (ie the same size print as the kids and therefore no extra cost) or do we want to shrink it and have it on the left side iywkim (extra charge). Let me know ASAP.

YAY! I did it!!!! I managed to post an image (the design) as a thumbnail that is clickable to see the larger image . I've been conversing with Aussie Gold as we finalise these orders. Some shirts have had to change colour, others have changed size. I've added up your orders and will PM you soon with the total and payment details.

THANK YOU everyone for being SO patient!!! I have now drawn up a proforma that will make things a lot easier next time I have an idea of something in my head for the next shirt Just have to work out how to get it down on paper

My internet is back on - YAY!- and Mac is out of hospital - even bigger YAY- I am in the process of putting the design on a t-shirt and working out sizes. Will get it to you ASAP! Just want to get through her MASSIVE first b'day party on Saturday

Ok, I just got back the final quote from Aussie Gold with all the sizes, colours and styles finalised and I'm having a minor panic as I had misjudged the final cost and with the extra size design and extra colour, it's going to cost a bit more I'm so sorry guys, I'll see if an extra $2 a shirt will cover it....it came to just off $600 for all the shirts to be printed!

Yay Robyn!!! I'm also trying to get down on paper an awareness design....I'm not so good at drawing and on the computer it looks so crude when done from scratch. I'd love to just used the clipart that MS has but I think it would be a no-no in this instance....

I'm just sitting down now trying to work out where I went wrong. There was an extra $30 that was thrown in that I was not aware of and because we have 2 different size prints, the larger print actually costs 50c a shirt more. Aussie Gold have been very patient with me while we've nutted it all out and had emails going back and forth and phone calls to confirm the order. I'm so excited about actually seeing them in real life!

I've asked my dad to pick them up for me so we don't have to add postage to here for me to distribute. But that's all good in theory if they have them finished by the end of next week so dad can bring them up to Darwin with him and give them to me there.....I'm a bit nervous actually about that little 'scheme' happening....lol

I have just given them the go ahead!! I'm so excited. I had another minor panic that they wouldn't accept Credit Card but they do! so I'm hoping to have the shirts in my hot little hands by the end of next week.

Just have to sit down now and work out postage for everyone (ie how many shirts can I stuff in a AustPost parcel???) and then PM everyone their totals and my bank details (I'll also take PayPal if that's easier for anyone).

I had missed some figures when I was adding up which is why my total didn't match theirs but it does now *phew*. Actually, we are 50c a shirt short. I was also wondering what people thought about the idea of purchasing a domain name which costs about $20 I think so that would be an extra 50c a shirt. And finally, I would LOVE to give Tania something for the design so she can register it. I have no idea how much that costs? But if people are interested, I would add another $1/shirt for that. So kids shirts would be $17 and adults $20.

Am happy with that too give the $$ for the domain name. I have briefly looked into copyrighting the design and I am pretty sure we can do it for free. Mac's health is causing probs again so will get to it when I get a chance....
