What size & colour advocacy t-shirt would you like? And how many?

I'll just poll the sizes because there's too many colours to choose from. The sizes are in their price brackets. The bigger the shirt, the more expensive it will be. Hopefully THIS is a multi-choice poll so if you would like more than one size you can vote for them. I will have to find out if various sizes is ok or if we need to have them all done in one size for minimum orders etc.

Please post below the colour choices you prefer. There's heaps of colours to choose from but also I think different sizes have different colours available. Just put your prefence and we'll see if we can come up with a consensus.

Lastly, state how many t-shirts you would like. I need to know there will be enough people wanting this for me to go ahead and get them on credit.

Girly or unisex, bright, cool colours
1 or 2 t-shirts

I don't have final prices as they give quotes for screenprinting on request. I think the minimum would be 30 shirts which I think is pretty achievable with the number of members here I will have to double check all this of course.

Prices just for the t-shirts are:
0, 2..................$ 4.45
4, 6, 8..............$ 5.75
10, 12..............$ 7.85
XS, S, M, L, XL..$ 9.75
XXL.................$12.15

That's for coloured t-shirts. White t-shirts are cheaper. Obviously, when we add on screenprinting and postage, it will be a bit more than that! Any profit (!?) will be used to pay for a unique domain name for this forum, be donated to a DS Assoc or any other suggestions

I am happy to get few shirts for Mac in different size's but I am wondering if we can get the font in glitter and make them funky IYKWIM. Cause my girls a funky chick....

I think if we get this first lot sorted, then we will be in a better position to get some more for Down Syndrome Awareness week in Oct if anyone is interested.

Ok, I've just been sent through the price list. The prices I listed earlier are the right ones but DO NOT include GST. Screen printing costs are different according to how many colours you use, how many t-shirts you get done and whether you do metallic, glitter or puff. Also, if anyone is good at drawing and wants to do the design, feel free! I am thinking a big pair of jeans with T21 on the back pocket and Designer Genes written underneath?

I think that if we were doing our jeans in a blue colour and the writing in a glitter then the shirt itself needs to be a pale colour i dont really mind what colour they are though i looked on your Aussie Gold site and the pale blue was nice. This could do both boy and girl. ...........Robyn.

Oh and I meant to say that we can do the same print on different coloured shirts so if everyone wants different sizes and colours, that's fine. I guess once we place the order they will tell us if any sizes/colours are unavailable. I've been looking at some jeans designs and was thinking something like the Jeans for Genes day (twisted legs to look like DNA) or with a double helix pattern on the legs or something with T21 on the pocket or on a tag.

I have a friend who's a really good drawer so I'll get him to do some sketches for me and upload them. Anyone else is free to offer designs (to speed up the process lol)

There is a really lovely US design that I have seen of the 3 chromosomes - looks like 3 caterpillars.

Well I got my friend to draw a pair of jeans for me - turned out as good (bad lol) as mine so if anyone wants to draw a design for the t-shirt, send it through by Thu and I'll take it with me to th t-shirt place when I'm in Perth.

A few quick question's though.

1 - Are we going to have a boy and girl design or just a uni-sex?
2 - Does there need to be a pair of jenes in the design?
3 - Do we want back and front or just one side?

Will be back on later today with hopefully a design, will see how I go!

I think for the moment - do a unisex design. Doesn't have to have jeans in it no. And also for the first lot, just on the front I think. Once we get the first lot done, and we have some funds behind us, then we can branch out to more variety

The colour was just used to assist with the design we don't have to have it in that colour. I was thinking the number is like a sport number and went off in that tangent. There are a whole range of fonts, colours etc we could use.

Hey i was just thinking I like the "T-21 designer jeans" in your pics 2&3 could we do these with a pic of a jeans pocket? You know as if the T-21 has been printed onto the pocket Do you know what i mean, it's just a thought............Robyn.

Which one Cas. I am trying the pocket design now, it is just hard to find an image of a pocket that is not square...

Maybe if you cant find a pocket design you could try the font on a square to see how it looks and then maybe the screen printers will have a pic of one that they could put our font on. Does that sound too complicated?

Oh! I just realised there is a second page! I'll just have another look at them.....I like the green one and the gold one. Yeah, I like the idea of it printed on a jeans pocket, like the bum of some jeans with that on it. But the prob is getting a jeans bum graphic! hehehe
